CONWAY, Gerald–Passed peacefully away on July 10, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, Gerald Denis Conway formerly of Bell Island, age 86 years. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen Mercier, Dolorosa King and Sister Mary Placide Conway (RsM); brothers Tom and William. Leaving to mourn loving wife Sarah (Dwyer) Conway; daughters Rosanne Sweeney (Paul), Shannon, Geraldine Fleming (Bill), Denis; sons Robert (Anne Marie), Allison, Heather and Mark; David (Jean), Mikayla and Jillian; sister Elizabeth Norris; sisters-in-law Kay Conway, Elizabeth Fitzgerald and Mary (Jack) Noseworthy; also many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and Meadow Creek Retirement Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday, July 11 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 12 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. On Monday, July 13 he will be resting on his beloved Bell Island at Pendergast’s Funeral Home from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. from St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island.
