Stephen Taylor

Stephen A. Taylor, 49, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday morning, February 21, 2011, following a brief illness. Born in Blackpool, England, he was the son of Dorothy (Jenkins) Taylor of Moncton and the late Raymond Taylor. Stephen was employed with Asurion and was a former cab driver with White Cab for several years. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens hockey fan, enjoyed video games, but first and foremost was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his mother, Stephen will be sadly missed by his wife of over 25 years, Josee (White) Taylor; his children, Tanya Moser (Ben), Centreville, Virginia, Jessica Wright, Benjamin Taylor, and Kendra Taylor, all of Moncton; his beloved grandchildren, Johnny, Phoenix and Alexis; sisters, Linda Miller (Alvin), Hillsborough, Lorraine LeBlanc (Wayne), Moncton; brothers, Les (Gail), Riverview, Andrew, Hillsborough, Ian, Riverview; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mountain Road, Thursday February 24, 2011, 3:00 pm with Major Frank Penny officiating. Reception following the service.
