On February 16, 2011 Mr. Robert (Bob) Strain passed away peacefully at the Pine Grove Centre, Kamloops at the age of 74 years. Bob was born on May 11, 1936 in London, Ontario.

He is survived by his two daughters Debbi (Jack) and Nancy and his son Brian (Sully); and five grandchildren Stephen, Staci (Peter), Lindsay, Alysha, Nicole and great grandson Calum.

Bob was predeceased by his son Robert Strain in 1996.
Dad loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked for B.C. Rail for 30 years, retiring in 2001. A long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Lillooet where he lived from 1955 to 2005. He also served as an alderman in Lillooet in the 1970's. Dad loved Christmas where he would every year go to his daughter Debbi's home where the rest of the family would gather for Christmas dinner. Bob's grandchildren were very precious to him. He loved their visits to Pine Grove.
