Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, February 19, 2011 of Mrs. Isabel (nee Carr) Francis, formerly of Atlantic Road and Andrew’s Lodge, Charlottetown, age 84 years.


Beloved wife of the late Keith Francis, and dear mother of Catherine Creamer-MacKinnon of Charlottetown. She is the loving grandmother of Sean Francis (Channon) of Summerside,Chris Creamer of Charlottetown, Danny Francis (Crystal) of Lower Sackville, N.S.; great grandmother of Taylor Stright, Bailey, Zoe, Luke, and Alexa Francis; mother-in-law of Jim MacKinnon and Paula MacKenzie (Donnie); sister-in-law Ella Mayhew Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.


She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Annie (nee MacPhee) Carr, son Daniel G. Francis, and nephew Brian Mayhew.


Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday morning then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.


If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Alzheimers Society.
