Clemson, Eva Pearl - 90, Truro, went to heaven on Sunday February 20, 2011. She was a resident at East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash, NS for the past eight years. Born in Stellerton, NS, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie (Purdy) Stubbert. Eva was a long time member of the Peoples Church, Truro, N.S., where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Secretary and Department Superintendent among other positions. She is survived by daughter, Lurley (MacNutt) Sutherland (Artie) Truro; four grandchildren, Beverly-Ann, Calgary, Brenda (Jim), Truro, Trent (Lorie), Chester and Wade (Beth), Saint John, NB; five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Sadie, Lakeside, NS. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Clemson; brother, Roland; sisters, Catherine, Lillian, Lena and Edna. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service being held at Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St, Truro on Thursday, February 24 at 3:00 p.m., Pastor Ken Fillmore officiating with a spring burial in Belmont Cemetery.
