GUEST, Frederick William –(1927-2009). Passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Predeceased by his brothers George, Gordon, Herb, Edward and sisters Alma, May, Evelyn, Violet, Gladys, Elizabeth and Laura. Left with precious memories are his wife of 60 years Jane, son Robert (Anne-Clare), and daughter Linda (Andrew) Webber; sisters-in-law: Elsie (Gerry) Hall, South Carolina and Beatrice Mullins, Nova Scotia; brother-in-law Jim (Sheila) Mullins, Mt. Pearl, as well as many other relatives and friends. Fred’s family would like to express sincere thanks to the people of Colliers, Conception Bay and the RCMP, Holyrood Detachment for their kindness and support. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church. Private interment will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Fred’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
