McCulloch, Myrtle Grace — age 74, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Oct. 25, 1936, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie (Kelsey) MacDonald. She was a loving mother, nannie, nannie 2, sister and friend to many. She loved to go camping as she and her husband Benny spent many summers at campgrounds throughout Nova Scotia. Myrtle will be sadly missed by her daughters, Janet (Claude) Davidson, Falmouth; Cindy (Allan) Rogers, Mount Denson; Sherry (Greg) Sears, Hantsport; son, George McCulloch, Falmouth; grandchildren, Randell (Tara) Davidson, Falmouth; Jason (Susan) Davidson, Garlands Crossing; Jennifer Davidson (Nick Greenough), Avonport; Lucinda (Gregg) Riley, Falmouth; Holly Rogers, Falmouth; Chris Sears (Sara Schofield), Mount Denson; Nick Spinney, Fredericton, N.B.; Jacklyn (Sean) Saunders, Red Deer, A.B.; great grandchildren, Ben, Don and Barack Davidson; Jaxon Greenough; Dylan and Dawson Riley; Blake Manders; Hudson McCarthy; Halle and Haydan Sears; sisters, Margaret (Dave) Duggan, Windsor; Mary “Tex ” (George) Duggan, Lakelands; Suzanne (Perley) Dagley, Three Mile Plains; brothers, Freddie-Ray (Sharon) MacDonald, Three Mile Plains; Steven (Margaret) MacDonald, Three Mile Plains. Besides her parents, Fred and Bessie (Kelsey) MacDonald; she was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Benny E. McCulloch (1999); daughter, Kathy Ann Spinney (2003); brothers, Kenneth and Charles MacDonald and a brother, Earle, in infancy; sister, Freda, also in infancy. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, in Lindsay`s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, in the Church of the Nazarene, 131 Wentworth Road, Windsor. The Rev. Wensell MacLeod officiated, followed by a reception in the Church of the Nazarene Hall. Interment was held in the Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Road, Falmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Hants Community Hospital; the Windsor & District Food Bank; or to a charity of one's choice.
