KEDDY, E. Jody - 35, of New Minas, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at home. Born in Windsor, he was a son of Susan (Wilkenson) Weatherbee and step-father, Larry Weatherbee. He was a self employed floor layer. He is survived by his wife, Patty (Keddy); five sons, Jeffrey, Anthony, Jorden, Morgan, all of New Minas and Michael, Bishopville; a grandson, Eric; his mother-in-law, Joyce Whitehead, New Minas; three brothers, Jeffrey (Anne) Hart, Hantsport; Deon (Brenda) Wilson, Kentville; Derek (Terri) Wilson, Lockhartville; a sister, Angela (Jeffrey) Hawboldt, Hants Border; two sisters-in-law, Tabitha Keddy (companion, Ronnie Vaughan), Morristown; Candace (Brad) Dykens, Canning; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Pastor Brian Reid officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Kings County S.P.C.A.
