It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivy Flora West announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the age of 75 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Philip E. West; her children: Glenn (Sue) of Corner Brook, Gregory of Labrador, Michelle (Tony) of Nunavut, and Jeffrey of Alberta; her grandchildren: Steven (Amanda), Tina (Simon), Robin (Wayne), Kelly (Nathan), Eddie (Jessica), A.J., and Carter; her great grandchildren: Abigail, Dylan, Julia, C.J., Kyle, Amber, Nathan, Brooklyn, Lucas, and Jenna; her sister Winnifred (Ray) Cooper, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her two sons Barry and Edwin, her sister Winnifred (Ray) Cooper. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
