Passed away suddenly at his residence on Bell Island, Monday, February 21, 2011, at the age of 77. He is predeceased by his beloved son Glenn. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Sheila of 51 years; two sons: Alex (Marlene) and Wayne; one daughter Kelly (Jim); six grandchildren and brother Robert; sisters-in-law: Penny Lahey, Ita Tucker, Trudy McLean (Bill), Sheree-Marie Penney (Jerome); brother-in-law Craig Lahey and step-mother-in-law Agnes Lahey. Also leaving to mourn numerous relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation to take place on Tuesday, February 22nd and Wednesday, February 23rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, February 24th at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Parish Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
