1923 - 2011 - Lena P. Prosser, 87, of Riverview, with members of her family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Cora (Douthwright) Steeves. Lena was a regular attendee of the Salisbury Merrymakers, an avid card player (cribbage and bridge), enjoyed her extended family at Buckingham Place, but first and foremost was spending quality time with her family. Lena will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Roger, Moncton; daughters Linda Duguay (Gary), Sudbury, ON, Carol Locke (Rev. Philip), New Minas, NS, Kathy LeBlanc (Raymond), Moncton, Faye Eldridge, New Minas, NS, Lois Cormier (Gerald), Fredericton; thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leon; daughter Sheila and son Leslie.
