It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Clinton Roy MacLeod at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011.
Born in Prince Edward Island, he was the son of Mrs. Irene Hepburn, P.E.I., and the late Roy MacLeod.
He was a truck driver by trade and he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Elsie (Jones) MacLeod; daughters, Laverne MacLeod (Chris), Bridgett MacLeod, (John); sisters, Joan Kerr, N.B., Angela MacLeod, P.E.I.; brother, Winfield (Debbie), B.C.; as well as five grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, William, Lucas and Jake.
Clinton was predeceased by his stepfather, James Hepburn.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
