The death of Lucy McGivery of Hampton, wife of the late Derek McGivery, occurred February 24, 2011 at Riverdale Manor Seniors Home, Hampton, NB. She was born in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Martin and Genevieve (Constantine) Boyle.
Lucy was a Foster Parent to many children. She enjoyed cooking, and loved to knit.
Lucy is survived by one daughter; Brenda Tays, Regina, SK; one foster son, Thomas Devlin, Sussex, NB; three grandchildren, Josh, Carl, and Nicole Tays; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
Resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton with visitation Sunday from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral will be held 10:30am, Monday, February 28, 2011 at Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Leo Martin officiating. Interment will be at Titus Hill Cemetery, Titusville at a later date.
