Passed peacefully away on February 6th, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, Harold Bowles of Catalina, NL, aged 62 years. Leaving to cherish his fond loving memories is his wife of 36 years, Georgina; two sons: Harold (Mary) and Sheldon (Nancy); and daughter, Christina. Greatly loved and dearly missed by his three granddaughters: Emily, Kiana, and Hannah. Also left to mourn are his brothers: Sandy (Irene) and Guy (Barbie); his sisters: Barbara (Thomas) and Frances (Michael); mother- in-law, Corella Strickland; brother- in-laws: Earl (Shelia), Wayne (Kimberley); sister-in- laws: Olive, Linda, and Sherry (Steve); ten nieces; nine nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Eric and Martha Jane Bowles; two sisters: Mildred and Paulette; father-in-law, Ernest Strickland; four brother- in-laws: Brian, Donald, Danny and Don; and niece Donna. Visitations were held in Catalina and Ramea. Funeral took place at St. Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea on February 11, 2011, with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating.
