Alexis Sonia Jacqueline Eagar- 5 months old, of Kentville, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Matthew and Ashleigh (Appleton) Eagar. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Colbey, at home; a brother, Dylan, at home; maternal grandparents, Ted and Darlene Appleton, Kentville; paternal grandparents, Peter and Sonia Eagar, Kentville; maternal great grandmother, Jacqueline Agnew, Prince Edward Island; paternal great grandmother, Eve Anderson, Ottawa; aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Sandra Fyfe officiating. Burial took place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Wolfville. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the IWK Neo Natal Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
