It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing on February 22nd, 2011 of Gizella Dobos (Mom).

Predeceased by her two sisters and brother, Mom was a fiercely independent, caring and proud woman.

Mom worked as a nurse at Royal Inland Hospital for three decades and cultivated many long lasting and treasured friendships with her fellow colleagues.

Mom loved to cook and entertain friends in her home. Equally as important to her relationships with people, Mom especially loved animals and nature. Her pets were an enormously special part of her life and she both nurtured and loved any of the little furry strays that came to her door; oftentimes making them a tad too fat for their own good.

Mom treasured her family, especially granddaughter Callie, whom she was very proud of, frequently championing her successes and achievements to any and all who would listen.

We hope you are in a better place Mom and will miss you terribly.
