The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, of Mary McNally, of Summerside, aged 88 years. Born in Kelly’s Cross, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Rachel (Monahan) McKenna. Survived by her children Phillipa Simmons, Summerside; Foch (Treva) McNally, Charlottetown; Joanne (George) Clow, Summerside; Judy (Richard) Gallant, Charlottetown; Charles (Janet) McNally, Borden-Carleton; Davey (Cindy) McNally, Summerside; daughter-in-law Anneliese McNally, Brampton, Ont.; beloved Nan to 18 grandchildren and Great-Nan to 21 great-grandchildren; sister Sr. Mary Olga McKenna, S.C., Halifax; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Myles (Annie) McNally, Lillian (Ted) Currie; James (Dot) McNally; half-brothers Elwood and Wayne McKenna; half-sisters Elva (Leonard) Roberts, Catherine Griffith, Olga McKenna and Elizabeth (Gerry) Haines; and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband David McNally; son Gerald; brothers Herb, Leo, Foch, Wendell and John Vincent; sisters Eileen and Agnes; step-mother Charlotte Bryanton and half-brother Everett McKenna. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment later in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
