Surrounded by her loving four daughters at the Souris Hospital, on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, of Joan Rosella Jackson (nee Pyke), of Souris and formerly of Montague, in her 74th year. Beloved wife for 53 years of Richard Jackson. Loving mother of Judy (Sandy) Johnston, JoAnn (Vince) Loughran, Marjorie (Dale Mossman) and Donna MacLeod. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas (Courtney MacCallum) Johnston; Jolee, Raymond and Jamie (Kara) Acorn; Melissa (Chad Benz), Jessi and Matthew (Dineaka Reid) MacFarlane; Brendon and Sarah Rose MacLeod. Grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Leroy (Clara) Pyke. Pre-deceased by her son, Ricky, grandson Jason; parents Reuben & Marjorie (Jenkins) Pyke and sister Yvonne Jackman. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Community Park Cemetery, Montague.
