The death occurred peacefully of Elsie Ross (Nanny), age 83 years, at the Colville Manor in Souris on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011. Loving mother of six sons; Duane (Theresa), Peter (Marilyn), David (Brenda), Kevin, Aaron (Tuet) and Cameron (Carol). Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Allison, Kami, Andrea, Melanie, Nicole, Lesley, Brittany, Lindsey, Heather, Amelia, Kory, Konrad and 13 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters; Gladys Jenkins and Lily Stewart and special friends Colleen and Art Robichaud, Gordie Lambie and Charlene Outhouse. Predeceased by husband; Sheldon Ross, mother; Mable Hearn, brother; Dick Hearn, sisters; Ivy, Doris, Syble and Alice. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday, February 28, 2011, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday at Fergusons Montague Funeral Home for visiting hours 2:30- 3:30 p.m. Funeral to be held at Fergusons Funeral Chapel at 3:30 pm. Interment at a later date in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Georgetown. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Souris Hospital or Colville Manor would be appreciated.
