We, the family of "Ed" Lacey would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbours for all your kindness and support during our recent loss. Many thanks to everyone who called, e-mailed, sent flowers, cards bought food, made charitable donations, travelled to be with us and those who helped in any way. Thank you to the VON staff, especially Ed's "Buddy" Paul Leteurnal, Palliative Care Unit, Beth Latham, Dr. S. Haleem, Dr. M. Hafidh, Dr. A. Atiyah, Dr. Y D'Intino, Dr. A.F. D'Intino and all those who cared for Ed during his lengthy illness. To. organist Ken MacKenzie, Trinity Church choir, Marion Lacey for her solo and Mirranda Lacey and Allie Crawley for their duet, thank you for your gift of music. Words cannot express our gratitude to Bill Laurie and his staff at the Pier Community Funeral Home for their caring guidance, compassion and professionalism that made this most difficult time so much easier. To each and everyone who touched our lives at this time; your love, compassion, support and caring will never be forgotten.
