Passed peacefully away on Friday, February 25, 2011, after a full and wonderful life, Joyce Martha Sparkes, age 87. Joyce is predeceased by her husband Clayton. She leaves beautiful memories for her four children: Susan, Bruce (Audrey), Steve (Debbie) and Judy Giannou (Scott). Joyce was blessed with eight grandchildren: Geoff Eaton (Karen), Dennis Eaton (Shelley), Lesley Williams (Brent), Allison Sparkes (Sean Power), Adam Sparkes, Chris Sparkes, Kim Sparkes and Jack Giannou. As well, Joyce leaves her five great-grandchildren: Cam, Kaylee, Adia, Mira and Addison. Joyce also leaves her dear sister Shirley and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Tiffany Village for the care, compassion and kindness they showed our Mother, we could not have asked for better care. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Monday February 28, 2011 from 2- 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Young Adult Cancer Canada or do something special for someone and think of our Mother.
