It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carl John Veitenheimer of Belleisle Creek, in his 80th year, Sunday, February 27th, at the Sussex Health Center after a period of failing health. Beloved husband of Eileen (Connaire) Veitenheimer and cherished father of Louise (Veitenheimer) Ravn. Loving grandfather to Liam and Katie Ravn. He also leaves behind a much loved sister, Shirley Winter, London, ON and brother, Frank Veitenheimer, Moncton, NB. Predeceased by precious baby daughter Donna, brother Clayton and sister Helen, as well as parents Frank and Mae (McKinnon) Veitenheimer.
The family will receive visitors at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Friday, March 4, 2011, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. A private family service and interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Extra Mural Foundation or donor's choice would be appreciated.
