Eva Coleman went home to be with our Lord and Saviour on Friday, July 10th, 2009. Eva, at the age of 94 is predeceased by her beloved husband George (1993), her son Robert (1999), daughter Shirley (2000), son Glen (2008), and grandson Randy (2002). Eva will be missed by her son-in-law Del Hunter, daughter-in-law Leslie Coleman, and by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Eva was born in Moose Jaw to Arthur and Dora Townend on March 28th, 1915. She grew up on the family farm and was often seen selling eggs around Moose Jaw. She met and married George Coleman in 1937, and the young couple took over the family farm shortly after. They stayed on the farm until their retirement in 1974, and moved to Moose Jaw. Eva enjoyed her retirement years with friends and family, traveling a few times to Ontario to visit extended family. She loved to garden and to knit, sharing with friends and family. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery.
