1953 - 2011 - Roger Gauvin, 57, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Sunday, February 27th, 2011 at his residence. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Dorilla G. (née: Melanson) and the late Henri O. Gauvin. Mr. Gauvin had worked at C.N. and the Moncton Hospital. Besides his mother, Dorilla of Riverview; he is survived by seven sisters: Yvette (late Andy) Bialko of Riverview, Florence (late Jean-Marie) LeBlanc of Moncton, Mai (Tilmon) Gosselin of Dover Rd. (Memramcook), Rachel (late Abbe) Bourgeois of Riverview, Stella (Edward) Smith of Moncton, Francine (Wolf) Kutnahorski of Scarborough, ON and Monique Gauvin (Michel Leduc) of Kempville, ON; one brother, Paul-Emile (Sue) Gauvin of Holiday, TX as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura and one sister, Jeannette both in 2005.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 10 am. Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
