Wayne Dobson of Riverview, passed away at The Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the age of 70. Born in Riverview, he was the son of the late Byron and Mary E. (Mills) Dobson. He was retired from the family business, Dobson Construction, with over 30 years of service. Wayne was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and a charter member of Whitepine Baptist Church. He was an avid Moncton Wildcats hockey fan, as well as member of the Petitcodiac Golf and Country Club. Wayne is survived by his wife Enid (Miller), daughters; Kristina Gautreau (Christopher) of Riverview, Beth Dobson of Moncton, son; Jamie of Riverview, sister; Virginia Woodworth (Clyde) of New Horton and brother Phillip (Judy) of Dawson Settlement.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) on Wednesday, March 2, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM, with Pastor Matthew Porter officiating and Pastor Frank Trail assisting. Funeral service to be held at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 3, at 1:30 PM.
