The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, July 13, 2009, of Dr. Sheldon R. Cameron, M.D., of Summerside, aged 85 years. Born in Searletown, he was the son of the late William and Bessie (MacDonald) Cameron. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Isabel (Inman) Cameron, Summerside; children, John Cameron, Summerside; Shelley Cameron (Paul Amos), Summerside; Suzanne Cameron (Dan Blundon), Halifax, N.S.; Fred (Maria) Cameron, Kingston, Ont.; sisters, Ann Dawson, Cornwall; Marjorie Delaney, Summerside; sister-in-law Mae Cameron, Albany; step-grandson, Liam Roscoe, B.C.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Don Cameron; sister Florence Francis; and brothers-in-law John Francis and Stanley Delaney. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside, for funeral service at 4 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Malpeque.
