Dual F. Chessie of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Yoho, NB passed away March 2, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Dual was born at Yoho in 1923, a son of the late James and Lillian (McLaughlin) Chessie. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Barbara M. (King) Chessie; three daughters, B. Anne Smith, Hamilton, Ontario, Margaret Gallie (Roy), Calgary, Alberta and Sharon Liska (Patrick), Smith Falls, Ontario; five sons, Patrick Chessie (Linda), Pickering, Ontario, Paul Chessie (Cindy), Fredericton, NB, John Chessie (Ann), Fredericton, NB, Larry Chessie (Lena), Edmonton, Alberta and Blaine Chessie (Shereen), Ottawa, Ontario; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Theresa Little, McAdam, NB, Margaret Gulliver, Fredericton, NB and Velma White (Kenneth), Saint John, NB; a brother-in-law, Harold King, Fredericton, NB; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Chessie, Fredericton, NB and Ruth Chessie, Toronto, Ontario and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dual was predeceased by an infant son, Michael George, two sisters, Mary Goodine and infant Agnes and six brothers, Phillip, Gabriel, Fearman, Hazen, Walter and Jerry Chessie.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Church, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. by Rev.
