Lalonde, Ethel Gertrude – 88, Truro passed away March 2, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Harmony, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Rath) MacKenzie. She is survived by children, Ken (Deborah), Hilden, Daryl, Belleville, Ont., Debbie (Mickael) Crouse, Fort Ellis; grandchildren, Julie (Tim) Buick, Mark (Brooke) Lalonde, Randy (Laura) Crouse, Amber Crouse; great-grandchildren, Alana, Cameron and soon to arrive, Gehrig; sisters-in-law, Hilda and Helen MacKenzie, June and Irene Lalonde; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; an infant daughter; brothers Ivan and Carl MacKenzie. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Altenkirk and intern, Sam, Nurses on 4 South and the Emergency Unit of the Colchester Regional Hospital. Visitation will be held in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro on Saturday, March 5th from 1 pm until time of the memorial service at 2 pm with Rev.
