ANDREWS, David Grenfell– Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, March 4th, 2011, David Andrews, aged 82 years. Respected educator, loving father, and friend to all who knew him. Predeceased by his father Duncan, mother Martha, sister Vera and brother Rex. Lovingly remembered by his wife Lillian, son Sam (Julie), daughter Joanne (Ernie), and his three grandchildren Tyler Andrews, Lauren and Jonathan Mallay, who meant the world to him; sister Triffie; sister-in-law Millie of Wesleyville. Also a large circle of extended family, special nieces and nephews, and friends including those from Gower Street Mens Club. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Woodland for his excellent care over the years. Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, March 5th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, March 6th from 2-4 p.m. Memorial service will take place at Gower Street United Church on Monday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
