HOUSE, Edward Lawrence– Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, age 62. Author of lyrics, poetry and prose, he was the youngest son of the late Annie and Gladstone House of Glovertown and St. John’s, dear brother of Ruby, Hope, Blanche, Cator and their spouses, beloved uncle of five nephews and four nieces. A memorial service will be held at Oram’s Funeral Home, Glovertown, on Monday, March 7, at 2 p.m., followed by a time of fellowship with friends and family. In keeping with Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will follow at a later time. Memorial donations to Parkinson’s Society, the Canadian Mental Health Association or the charity of your choice would be received with gratitude. Special thanks to his many caregivers at home and to the many caring staff members and friends at James Paton Memorial Hospital.
