The death of Vica Hilda (Leaman) Hanlon, wife of the late Douglas (Bud) Hanlon of Oromocto, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, March 4th, 2011. She was born December 26th, 1923 the daughter of the late William and Alma Leaman. Vica is survived by her four daughters, Judy Adams (Eric) of Alberta, Shirleen Randall (Charlie) of Oromocto, Marilyn Monteri (Frank) of North Carolina and Patricia Hanlon of Oromocto; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Steven, Carrie, Amiee, Jamie, Patrick and Kristen; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Keith of Moncton and Irene Smith of Fredericton. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, five brothers and five sisters.
There will be no visitation or service by request. A memorial service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
