The death occurred suddenly in Charlottetown on Friday, March 4, 2011, of Laura Fisher in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Alex Fisher of Bay Fortune. Loving mother of Clara (Jim) Fisher and Jane Fisher. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Krista and Shawn MacDonald, Natalie (Mark) MacPhail, Aundrea (Brian) Lewis, Janine Morrison and Jason (Holly) Fisher, and nine great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by son, Billy Fisher; sisters, Clara and Mary; and brothers, Raymond, Clement, F.D., Alex, Dan, Geordie and Wendell.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home in Charlottetown for visiting hours Monday, 6 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Funeral to be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, to St. Francis De Salles Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
