Frances King
Frances M. King of Harvey Station, NB passed away March 6, 2011 at Harvey Community Hospital. Frances was born in Fredericton, NB in 1927, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Lindsay) King. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards and faithfully attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cork. Visiting with her family and her many friends, especially Grace Ward and Gerry Moffitt was an important part of her life. Frances is survived by her sons, Roger King (Carolyn), McAdam, NB and Christopher King, Harvey Station, NB; her grandchildren, Tammy Boon (Daniel), Tina Boon and Brenda Short (Billy), Paul Osborne (Michelle), Kevin Osborne (Lana), Mark Osborne and Ryan Osborne; seven great grandchildren; her sisters, Greta King, Mazerolle Settlement, NB and Wilma Corning, Rollingdam, NB; her brothers, Gilbert King, St. George, NB and Eugene King, Oromocto, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin King in 2006, a sister, Verna and brothers Joseph and Donald King.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Onwugigbo officiating. Interment will be later at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanwell. Pallbearers will be Doug Perrin, Ryan Osborne, Vernon Randall, Maurice Mazerolle, Eugene King and John McKeen.
