Douglas Harron

Douglas Winston Harron of Hoyt, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 6, 2011 at the age of 67. Doug worked as a motor mechanic most of his adult life. He loved talking on his CB radio and was constantly building better antennas so he could talk to more people in more distant places. Douglas is survived by his two daughters, Tanya DeWitt (Arthur)of Hoyt, Lisa McCully (Jeff) of Calgary, two sons Paul Harron (Fay) of Wirral, Jason Harron (Kelly) of South Bay. Two sisters Marlene Doyle (Wilford) of Ontario, Patsy Lloyd of Saint John, two brothers, Richard Harron (Sandra) of Beaverdam, Everett Harron (Marlene) of Wirral. Also survived by Rosalind Harron, his six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved pets Zoe and Boots. He is predeceased by his parents Winifred Duplissea and Harold Harron and two infant grand-daughters.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm to pay respects. Funeral service will be from Hoyt Baptist Church on March 9, 2011 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Blake Perrin officiating. Interment in the Patterson United Church Cemetery in the spring.
