A. Hugh (Bud) Forster
A. Hugh (Bud) Forster, 93, of Monarch Hall, Riverview and formerly of Bessborough Ave., Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday morning, March 7, 2011. Born in Campbellton, he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Ward) Forster. Bud was a retired CNR conductor with 41 years service and a member of Central United Church. He was a former member of the Church Session, former Church Steward and former Chairman of the Property Committee. He was a member of Acacia Lodge #49 F. & A.M., the CN Pensioners Association; however, the most important thing to Bud was his family. Bud will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Dorayne (Engall) Forster; daughter, Sally Forster and son, Bruce, both of Moncton; granddaughter, Alison Campbell of Toronto; brothers Jim and Vernon (Skip), both of Campbellton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Vernie, Dorothy and Irene (Ditty); and brother, Bill.
No visitation hours by personal request. Celebration of Life Service for Bud at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday March 11, 2011, 1:30 pm, Rev. Dr. James MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
