1926 - 2011 - Noella Goguen, 84, of Dieppe, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday March 6, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laurent and Elmire (LeBlanc) Maillet. Noella will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 63 years, Alyre Goguen; daughters, Annette Geneau (Claude) of Nanaimo, BC, Thérèse LeBlanc (Omer) and Alice Melanson (Mike) both of Dieppe; sons, Danny Goguen (Denise), Scoudouc, Normand Goguen (Ellen), Victoria, BC; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Clara Hebert (Lionel), Dieppe and brother, Medard Maillet (Yvonne), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother, Evelyne; infant son, Normand; sisters, Dorilla Drisdelle (Clovis), Nelida LeBlanc (Julien) and brothers, Telex Maillet, Omer Maillet (Bonnie), Ulysse Maillet (Anna).
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 11, 2011, 11:00 am at Ste Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe. Interment, St. Jacques Roman Catholic Cemetery, Scoudouc.
