Passed peacefully away on Monday, March 7, 2011, Joseph Spurrell, aged 72 years. Predeceased by parents Walter and Ethel; brothers: Doug and Jack. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 42 years Patricia (nee Lamb); sons: Barry (Priscilla Lewis) and Bob (Leann); special grandchildren: Brandon, Riley and Shane; brothers: Wally (Rebecca), Don (Teresa) and Austin; sisters: Mary Taylor (Ray) and Helen Tuck; sisters-in-law: Doloras (Peter) and Shirley Lamont (Larry); brother-in-law Doug Payne; special friends: Moses and Ina Spurrell and Mary Lantos. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Waterford Hospital, 3NorthA. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Cremation will follow visitation. Funeral service will be held from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
