POWER, James (Jim) – It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden death of Jim Power at Lachine, Que. on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at age 69 years, formerly of Bell Island, N.L.. Predeceased by parents William and Lillian Power, sister Margaret Normore. Leaving to mourn loving companion Yvette and her family, children Margaret, Gerrie (David), James (Sharon), Ronnie, Sherry, Derek; brothers Dick (Elizabeth), Bill (Genevieve); sisters Mary (Frank), Catherine and Theresa; brother-in-law Woodrow Normore; loving grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. Granddaughter Brittany will accompany Poppy home to Bell Island for burial. Visitation will take place at Pendergast Funeral Home, Bell Island, times to be announced.
