Julie DeWolfe

HOPEWELL – Julie Ann DeWolfe, 51, of Hopewell, Pictou County, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.
Born August 5, 1959 in Dartmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Earl Albert and June (Brooks) DeWolfe.
Julie was a graduate of Université de Sainte-Anne and Université de Moncton. Julie was an employee of the Chignecto Central Regional School Board having taught French since September 1982 at Westville High School, Victoria Middle School, Westville Middle School and Highland Consolidated Middle School. “Miss DeWolfe” had a great affection for her students and loved teaching. Her amazing gift for detail and flare helped make every school event special for students, parents and staff. Julie’s intellect, creativity and passion for knowledge, were inspirational to all around her.
Julie is survived by her sisters, Trina (David) MacDonnell, Halifax, Corinne (Randy) Bell, Crapaud, P.E.I.; nieces, Lauren and Taylor MacDonnell, Brooke Bell, nephew, Tanner Bell.
She was predeceased by her parents and her grandmother, Mary Brooks (Alberta).
Visitation will be at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, Friday, March 11th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, Westville at 11 a.m. Saturday with Father Donald Boudreau officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Donations in Julie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
