The death of Bertha M. (McIntyre) Washburn, wife of Dr. Robert E. Washburn occurred at her residence, Rothesay, on March 9, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Henry and Mary Ann (Maxwell) McIntyre. She leaves two sons, Dr. Robert (Gail) Washburn, Aylmer Ontario and Bruce (Heather) Washburn, Saint John, New Brunswick; eight grandchildren, Geoffrey, Prague, Czech Republic; Ruth Anne; Heather (Stephen), Toronto; David (Emily), London, England; Daniel (Anna) Sackville, NB; Aaron, Saint John; Adam, Saint John; Rebecca (Max) Fredericton; four great grandchildren, Calvin, Meagan, Hannah, and Charlie.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., from St. Paul’s Church, Rothesay, with interment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
