Passed peacefully away at his residence on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, William Gordon, aged 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife Hope; son Scott Gordon (Darlene); two loving grandchildren: Dean and Jana Gordon; sister Janet Barnes (Clar); sisters-in-law: Doreen Evans (Frank) and Peggy Dominie (Cal); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and then on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Memorial service to be held from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA.
