Passed peacefully away on July 13th, 2009 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Formerly of Conche, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her mother Adele and father Maurice Power, son Charlie, sisters: Alice Tobin and Nell Hunt, brothers: Dan Power, Stan Power and Con Power. Leaving to mourn her husband of 59 years Kevin; sons: Roy (Margaret), Gilbert (Lillian), Roland (Ann) and daughter: Brenda (Jim Guiney); Grandchildren: Nola (Andrew), Nicole (Ronnie), Kevin, Charles, Kimberly, Neriza, Chad and Lauren; one great-grandchild: Jack; sisters-in-law: Laura Power, Rita Power, Violet MacIsaac, Clemmie Baldwin; brother-in-law: Cyril (Mildred) Chaytor. As well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds. Interment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
