July 10, 1930 - March 4, 2011 - Eugene Hiram Prosser of Hawkins Corner, N.B., passed away at home with his loving wife at his side after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Nortondale, N.B., the son of the late Harry and Luella (Hallett) Prosser. Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca of 51 years; four children, Janet Susan Perkins (Gary) Lower Brighton, N.B., Stephen Allen Prosser (Donna) Woodstock, N.B., Anita Marie Harnish (Sedric) Grafton, N.B. and Jacqueline Carol Ann Kidney (Roger) Jacksonville, N.B.; one sister, Emma Jean Springer (Don) Woodstock, N.B. He was a cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation took place on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Carleton Funeral Home, Jacksonville, N.B.. Funeral service was at Carleton Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2011 with his nephew, Rev. Dan Walton officiating. Interment will be at Hawkins Corner Cemetery, Hawkins Corner, N.B. at a later date.
