At the Prince County Hospital, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 of John “Lester” MacLeod of Albany, age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee MacKenzie) MacLeod. Loving father of Dorothy (Sheldon) MacKinnon, Hampton, N.B., Janet MacLeod (Charlie Doiron), New Dominion, P.E., Lorelei MacLeod, Albany, P.E. and special friends Gayle and Troy. Dear grandfather of Jason (Brigitte) MacKinnon, Moncton, and Amy and Jayne MacKinnon of Hampton, N.B. Survived by brother-in-law Ed Curtis and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Janet (nee Gordon) and Louis D. MacLeod, son Paul in infancy, brother Donald, sister Eva Curtis, and sister-in-law Mary MacLeod. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, until Friday, July 17, from where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday from 6-9. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetry. True Brothers Masonic Lodge, Crapaud, will hold a service of remembrance following visitation on Thursday evening at 9.p.m. Lester was the longest serving member of the Masonic Order of P.E.I.
