Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Home on January 9, 2011 in her 97th year, Vira Hayward. Predeceased by her husband Leo, son Gerald, daughter Madonna and two grandchildren Frankie and Susie. Leaving to mourn her son Arlington and his wife Marg of St. John's and daughter Mary and her husband Wendell of Minnedosa, MB, also leaving six loving grandchildren: Madonna, Scott, Danny, Julia, Sean and Gregory; fourteen darling great-grandchildren and three precious great-great-grandchildren. Vira was a homemaker and a loving mother who lived for her children. Vira loved a good game of darts and enjoyed going to dances. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday March 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. No flowers by request.
