Peacefully at his residence, on Thursday, March 10th, 2011; the death of Gordon Howard Richardson of Heathland, NB. He was the husband of Catherine (Rule) Richardson and son of the late Albion W. and Helena M. (Haney) Richardson. He is survived by two sons Donald G. (Elizabeth) of Fredericton, and Kevin W. of Rollingdam, one daughter Gail Brideau (Wayne) of Saint John, five grandchildren, Michael Demerchant (Desarae) of Calgary, Erin Demerchant of St Stephen, and Patrick Richardson of Fredericton, Jessica Brideau and Daniel Brideau, one brother Floyd, H.(Joyce) of Deer Island, one sister Florice M. Harvey (Richard) of Fredericton, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, one brother, Donald Albion, and one sister, June Helena Richardson, niece Tracy Lee Boudreau.
By Gordon’s request there is to be no visitation at the funeral home however friends are welcome to attend a memorial service in celebration of his life on Monday, March 14th, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St Stephen, NB.(506 – 466 – 3110) A reception will immediately follow in the Humphreys Community Room and Reception Centre. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Passamaquoddy Lodge, Charlotte County Satellite Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
