Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Thursday, March 10, 2011, with the love and support of her family, of Levina Mary Fraser, wife of Reginald Fraser of Alberton, aged 80 years. Born in Tignish on March 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rosetta (nee Handrahan) Harper. Loving mother to: Franklyn (Annabelle) of Alberton; Janie (Wayne) MacWilliam of Brooklyn; Rosetta (Peter) Tremblay of Alberton; Connie (Cyril) Hardy of Brooklyn; Hubert (Lisa) of Northport; Romey (Heather Joy) of Alberton; Danny of Alberton; Leonard (Shelly) of Alberton; Jackie (Tammy) of Alberton; and Noreen (Darryl) Profit of Alberton. She will be sadly missed by her 23 grandchildren and by her nine great grandchildren. Dear sister to Rachel Miller of Tignish and Leonard Harper of Kingston, Ont. She was predeceased by her daughter Irma Dumville and by a granddaughter Justina Fraser. She was also predeceased by four brothers and three sisters: Reginald; Donald, Louis, Romey, Janie Profit, Irma Perry, Noreen McAileer. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Monday March 14, 2011 from the Sacred Heart Church Alberton for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Western Hospital or to the Maplewood Manor Alberton would be gratefully appreciated.
