Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Friday, March 11, 2011, Melvina E. Miller, age 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Tryphena Miller; brothers: Harold, Ernest, Douglas, William, Clement, Albert, Chester, Arthur and Wilson; sisters-in-law: Jean, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth and Joyce; brother-in-law Henry Somerton. Leaving to mourn sister Mary Somerton; brothers: Peter (Margaret), Adrian (Sylvia), James (Rosmond), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Westerland Road. Cremation to follow. Interment on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island.
