Peacefully at Souris Hospital on Sunday, March 13, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, of Leona May Doiron (nee Chaisson), beloved wife of the late Charles Doiron, of Colville Manor and formerly of St. Charles in her 90th year.
Survived by her children; Joey (Mary), Lorne (Sheila), Irving, Kay Frances, Andy, Marie (Carl), Ann (Gerard), Molly (Emery), Leo (Trudy), Jean (Andy). Survived by 24 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; also survived by sister, Gertie; brothers, Foncie and Francis. Fondly remembered by son-in-law, Terry Gallant. Predeceased by son, Jimmy (Rosa); daughter-in-law, Pauline; brothers, Johnny and Andy; and sister, Priscilla.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday evening 6-9 p.m., no visiting hours on Thursday morning. Funeral to be held on Thursday morning to St. Charles Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment in parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Souris Hospital, Colville Manor or MacIntyre House would be appreciated.
