The family of William Joseph Buckland is sad to announce his passing on Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Emily for 51 years, a devoted and loving father to Jean-Marie and Jennifer Anne and a caring grandfather to Cody and Melody.
Bill is survived by his brothers and sister; Louis, Theresa, Steve, Vincent and Gordon.
A devout Catholic, Bill served for many years as a Eucharist Minister and usher at Nativity of Our Lord Parish. A true sports lover, he was an avid bowler and an enthusiastic golfer with the Etobicoke Fairways Golf Club. He was the most generous, loyal and fun-loving person you could hope to meet and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
